59 deid after IDF strikes and gunfire next tae an aid centre, 70 arrested at peaceful protests for supporting Palestine Action.
CVNTS.
CVNTS.
59 according tae Sky news. IDF cvnts.34 Gazans shot dead yesterday at the only aid distribution site left open.
The most moral armed force in the world though.59 according tae Sky news. IDF cvnts.
With their technologically advanced systems ......the IDF have made quite a few 'errors'.The most moral armed force in the world though.
Killing doctors, women, journalists, shooting children in the head
There can't be anybody left who believes these atrocities are still a result of collateral damage whilst targeting Hamas fighters in hiding.
With their technologically advanced systems ....the IDF have made quite a few 'errors'.
The latest 'error' killing 6 kids at a water aid station.
But what the hell.
It was a mistake.
They dinnae give a fuck, naebody says fuckall anyway. They'll be pissed off someone noticed is all
It’s obvious what the Americans want.33 palestinians die of malnutrition now , how long before the rest of the world suggests that the U.S. is complicit in these events AND the u.k. to a lesser extent![]()
I agree, there is no denying they are genoocidal. Fuckin scumbags and that includes all politicians in the UK gor blatantly letting it happen… i can nearly hear all the excuses already, they killed about 100 innocent people!!!! Yeah so let’s kell everyone off their countrymen, slowly but surely…I'm really struggling no to go there, but I'm thinking we've seen the current Gaza situation play out before - move populations en masse, round them up in ghettos / camps, starve them, then slaughter them indescriminantly.
This has to stop, Israel is becoming the new Nazis.
That’s a pile of pish Joe…Was it nostradamus who predicted this would happen or was it some other soothsayer @egb_hibs
There is in here Stu.there is no denying they are genoocidal
Ah sillyThat’s a pile of pish Joe…
It was all riddles and so called experts came to all different meanings about what they meant
oh ffsWas it nostradamus who predicted this would happen or was it some other soothsayer @egb_hibs

They're just cvnts, just heard orange baws on the news sounding like he's washed his hands of it.Israel accusing the UN of supporting terrorism because they want to supply aid to the gazans.
I have to say it does sound like the Israeli version of the final solution.
What does that actually mean though? Surely the only way to stop the genocide is sending troops in.While bairns starve a wee chunk of light, looks like France and probably UK will recognise Palestine as a state come September. Starmer the key block ATM in UK re US relations![]()
I’d be very surprised if Starmer goes against the US, he’s not got the hee hawsWhile bairns starve a wee chunk of light, looks like France and probably UK will recognise Palestine as a state come September. Starmer the key block ATM in UK re US relations![]()
Aye largely symbolic although I do think it has some impact in international law. The symbolism is important though looks at the reactions of Bibi and Abbas (nevermind Rubio)What does that actually mean though? Surely the only way to stop the genocide is sending troops in.
I don't bother with this thread unless something significant has changed. Some folk may find value in dwelling on every daily update, but not me; not when it requires picking through all the bile and mentalism. In other words, the topic gets lost in the bier kellar atmosphere even more than other threads, and imo is even more a waste of time.I'm still curious why the 'right to defend' camp are so quiet when they're so voluble on other (imo far less consequential) issues. Saying nothing in that context is odd, I'd love to know what the UK foreign policy position should be in your estimation @egb_hibs.

Thanks for responding, A foreign policy that's just a wee bit nicer and doesn't shift the dial remotely is a bit of a cop out. Like our government's position it's tantamount to enabling Israeli atrocities even though you might wish that otherwise. This is the problem that separates this from all the other horrors in the world, we (UK) could significantly influence outcomes through diplomacy we choose not to, we stay silent. That's why more volume is needed.I don't bother with this thread unless something significant has changed. Given your post here, I'm puzzled why you, among so many others, are so unvoluble to the point of silence on equally consequential horror shows. That said and iirc, at least you dont get furious at attempts to start threads on them, or try to downplay other catalogues of horror. But we don't need to go over why that might be, yet again: there are consequential matters and then there is obsession.
As to your question; I think Britain should be doing all it can to get Israel to lift it's brutal siege and allow more food in, though I think i read last night they are now opening up to food / aid being parachuted in? In general terms I think we should be supporting Israel in principle but not some of its means, such as the aforementioned, and should be pulling the levers available to us to try and influence on those points. I think I've probably said similar before; its certainly in line with my several times restated view on the conflict. Again, I dont see a point in repeating it daily unless something changes.
Ps I'm not sure what the 'right to defend' camp is. Surely noone disagrees that Israel has a right to defend itself?
you asked me what i thought their stance should be, and i answered. Im sorry but for me that is about trying to stop / penalising their excesses and humanitarian outrages like the food blockade, not facilitating their defeat. Thanks for responding, A foreign policy that's just a wee bit nicer and doesn't shift the dial remotely is a bit of a cop out. thats not true though. To give but one example Nigeria are a strategic partner and key source of planned migration post brexit. And their government is accused of complicity in the slaughter of Christians which this century dwarfed Palestinian casualties until this all out war, and outnumbers them still i think. This is the problem that separates this from all the other horrors in the world, we (UK) could significantly influence outcomes through diplomacy we choose not to, we stay silent. That's why more volume is needed.
Well nobody here has ever suggested they should do whatever they like.Right to defend is the euphemism for do whatever the fuck they like, the silent in the face of genocide roll out

Maybe he'll tell Israel to stay on their side of the newly recognised border or he'll send the troops in but I don't think so. I doubt it means much.Starmer says UK will recognise Palestinian state in September (unless Israel agrees to a ceasefire)
Odd that former is being used as a threat to lever the latter, I'm not sure that makes much sense.
