The NDP are everyone's new favourite far left loonies. It's not hard to see why with some of the beyond parody stuff they've been putting out into the world, but I feel the coverage they get does belie their significance - 3 seats out 345 in the Canadian house of commons. They're essentially the Canadian Your Party.

Still it's good to see we have politicians who stick by their options and will not change them for anything.

Not sure if I'm one of the 'gang of four', but surely you would accept that there are legitimate public policy questions around the trans issue that should be explored?

Looking at the criticism Andy Burnham is getting for being OK with men in women's toilets you don't need to troll very far. Men like you and him, that want to tell women, who they should share a toilet with, will not date very well.

Well at least, at long last, we (or more accurately public agencies and private companies) will have definitive central government guidance based on the High Court ruling on how we all move on from the debacle of the last few years.

How it's interpreted will be under huge scrutiny by all and sundry, and rightly so.

@Archie and @Smurf as you well know I've never shared my personal opinion on the acres of coverage, by men, on here. My coments may I have to say have possibly been prompted by my attendance at the Haematology ward 8 over the past three weeks visiting my terminally I'll wife. I used the toilets on several occasions. One toilet for disabled persons next to one with a male/female sign and usable by any sexual orientation. Eminently sensible. I mentioned the stuff on here regarding this topic on
with her two sisters while visiting. All three found it highly amusing, their concerns were considerably more measured and constructive, than some obsessive blokes on here. Her elder sister to paraphrase said ' My goodness Hibs must have had a really bad season'
Yesterday my lovely wife was transferred to St Columba's Hospice where our boy died 10 years ago. One thing for sure all in there, they will be treated with end of life dignity, whether straight, lesbian, gay, bisexual or trans and dare I say with more dignity than some of them had before death. To the Uber trash folk that posted photos of 'blue hair ugly' Trans people on here in a mocking 'look at the state of that scripts' can I just say unequivocally I think that you are *&*^ of the highest order. If you ever see me too or fro Easter Road, walk on by.

Sorry to hear that Gordon.
Visited St Columbas when I was in 6th year and its an incredible place never been particularly scared of death but seeing the empathy,kindness and respect the staff showed the residents whilst preparing them for the next stage left me with a sense of calm which I hope the residents shared.
My lasting memory was the introduction from the guy who ran the place he asked what's a Hospice?
His answer a bout a gallon

G, I've dipped in for the first time in god knows how long to find that this thread is still an absolute bigot magnet. Is there any way to delete the fecking thing? I started it when this place was still normal and good faith discussions could still be had.
