Belfast was a decent trip away for me. My pal took me over for my 60th.

The Giants Causeway and the Titanic Exhibition were excellent.

Found it too Hunnish.
Much prefer Dublin.
We visited both places and were the only tourists there……….. covid just going into gear.

Got the train down to Dublin on the Saturday but wasn't impressed
Really enjoyed Belfast did a bus tour to giants causeway and a few game off Thrones locations
Did you manage to catch a murals tour as well? We went from the Titanic Exhibition.

The black cab arrived driven by Kevin. I said I'm Jimmy from Edinburgh and I'm a Hibs fan 🤣 he was sound. Took us off the beaten track into the nationalist areas.

Up to the newish James Connolly memorial then into Milltown Cemetery. Showed us some of the resting places of folk who never get a mention in the peace process writings.

I took a walk along the Falls road myself on the Sunday morning
Those murals are a work of art

When is it you are away @Hattie ?

I'm going to be going to Cameron Toll the morn so that's my holiday sorted 🙄

I take it Shrink has the ahem 'other ones'?

The hand on the hip look suits Stu though.

Allegedly.

A week at St. Monans in April.
Two weeks in June at Lossiemouth.
Final week of this year in Oban next month.
Cannie take the dug on a plane so it’s Auld Scotia for holidays these days
Used to go to Lossiemouth every year when we were kids. My uncle was stationed at the Navy base there, Fulmar (he was an helicopter and aircraft engineer) which then became RAF Lossiemouth, I think.

He lived on Allen Lane about 5 minutes walk from the Silver Sands. You passed Ramsay McDonalds birthplace on the way to the beach.

Long weekend in Paris in April.
Weekend in Oban last month, wonderful train journey!
Just back from a week in Gairloch, just stunning, sunshine all the way, but covered in midge & cleg bites.
Birmingham next month for West Brom game.
Possibly a trip to Belfast in October - never been before.

The Titanic Exhibition is well worth going to mate.

Also the Giants Causeway.

Moved the flights I rashly bought to Larnaca for the possible Hibs game to Lanzarote in February instead. Been to Costa Teguise and Playa Blanca but might try PDC or Matagorda this time. Recommendations welcome
