Harp Mosaic

That was what we tried to do, someone somewhere within the club was against it, of that I have no doubt.
I understand that you have in the past and i am dismayed that it was not fully supported by the club.
I commend the work of St Patrick's Branch and associates to make Ballingarry happen.

It took decades to get the Harp back to its rightful place, our badge/emblem
Alan Lugton's historical volumes awoke many to our roots and i believe Alan's writings helped revive interest, in not only the Harp, but "Little Ireland" and our Cowgate roots.
Its long overdue, and time for our Founding Fathers to be properly recognised at the Holy Ground.

Brilliant day. 10 hour round trip by buses from Wexford to Ballingarry via Dublin. Great catch up with fellow Hibees. Stephen Dunn has promised a party involving Ballingarry for the Hibs 150th anniversary. Can't wait.

Big shout out and thanks to St.Patricks branch, Paul Flynn with the Dublin Hibs and also to Ballingarry AFC for the kindness and hospitality given to us all.

Quote of the day was when in his address, St. Patrick's Branch Chairperson Dougie McLeod said 'Always remind the other team that were second to wear the green, that if it wasn't for a young man born in your small village of Ballingarry, that they would not exist.
