Gent Away

Surprised we’ve not put the home leg tickets on sale yet. If we get pumped on Thursday uptake will be shite 🙈😂

N.B. Before anyone replies “that’s the spirit!” etc - I don’t think we will! 🙏🏻

When I googled it it said tnt but can’t find anything on my sky

Champs league is definitely TNT.
I've just checked too, it's not listed, none of the conference qualifiers are yet.

Guess TV stations get first dibs before solid sport picks up the rest.
Nothing allocated yet.

Its on your digital receipt ( page along or hit 3 dots at top).

That will be linked to the QR code, same as a rock concert.

When you get scanned over there, the checkers will see name on his/her machine, though they might not give a toss.

No chance they will be checking names on tickets over there

Bottom line is we know its a possibility.

They may only check some, reject a few to make it look good for the cctv and stats.

Possibly ruined the boy's career as well. I wish someone would straight out ask Gray what problem he has with him.

What I still dont get is that others were well off form yet he still never gave him much of a chance. Hes certainly not the finished article but we must have known that when we bought him.

Whoever is it fault it looks like the club finances will record a heavy loss on the deal.

Hibs supporters in Ghent 🇳🇬

Fanzone

We’ve secured the exclusive use of O’Learys Sportsbar (Dok Noord 7/301, 9000 Gent) as a Hibernian supporter fanzone on Matchday.

Food, drink & music will be available in the 1,000 capacity venue, open from 2pm Thursday ✅

It is anticipated that there will be fans travelling over without tickets.

These supporters are going to need somewhere to watch the match and O’Leary’s Sportsbar is the correct place to watch with like-minded Hibs Supporters.

Lots of screens, food, drink and activities.

The club will provide a similar offering to what supporters experienced at the Bolek bar in Warsaw last year

Venue tour can be found here - O'learys | Gent

Supporter recommendations for Wednesday

There are plenty of bars and restaurants around the Korenmarkt and Vrijdagmarkt areas which has great options for supporters to meet up.

The city is compact and walkable, with plenty of public transport options, but we will have travel to stadium advice to follow shortly.

Lowe who to all intents and purposes has been poor at best.

Lowe has been average at best, but does a job physically that others can't.
Same argument I had with Mykola and the reason that Bowie didn't really work for me.

Lowe is a better option that Klidje in that job.

And I agree he's not been given a chance, but I'd still pick Lowe and Elding ahead of him.
Suto I'm less convinced with, but he came up with the goods at the end of the season when others weren't.

If it came down to those 4 players and Boyle, I know Klidje or Suto would be staying home for me.

Opinions eh. Lowe has done nothing to warrant a place every week plus, he's not even our player so Gray is choosing another teams asset over one of ours.

Both Suto and Klidje could do the same as Lowe has come up with so far so I'm not sure why you'd pick him over either of them.

I'd go as far as to say both would have stuck away at least a couple of the chances Lowe has squandered.

As long as he's at Hibs he's ours. I don't care that he goes away at the end of the season, there's been plenty loans that we'd have suffered without, so for me they're ours.

I've explained why I've picked him. The physical job required. Suto looks big, but he's not a target forward or a hold up player.
Klidje can leap, wouldn't take that away from him, but he's not a target forward. Winning headers isn't the same as doing the job. Josh Campbell wins headers and everyone hates him. Wouldn't play him as a striker either.

There's every chance they'd have scored something he hasn't, but there's every chance they wouldn't as well.
There's no guarantees they'd make the assist he's made, no guarantees of anything.

Opinions though. I want Klidje to get a chance, but I can see why he hasn't made the squad.

As @Smurf says , Its very disappointing that the biggest investment in our history hasn’t been given a chance by Gray. It’s pretty obvious that it was a signing in which the manager had no say whatsoever in. Lowe hasn’t really impressed, but there is probably a clause in which he has to play 🤷🏻‍♂️, I really feel sorry for Klidje.

At least he works when he comes on, plenty others down tools to work an out route.
