I mind being told the same thing before going to Bari in 2007 to watch Scotland. In the end the opened the gates and let everyone in (pished) without even looking at a ticket.

I got my ticket checked going into the game in Skopje but I don't think many others did.

In my experiences of Belgrade, Warsaw, Kosovo and Macedonia they're not bothered whats on your ticket as long as it scans. They just want you in the ground as quickly as possible
