That's what I thought when I first heard it tbh. But thinking it through, Kev is still pretty young and Marshall hasn't got long left. Maybe part of the deal is it's a genuine pathway to first team fitba for Kev whilst gaining from Marshall's experience.

Anyway if what I heard is true it's been a done deal for months.

We def need to give the gloves for next three games to see what he can do , seriously . Failure to do so would be criminal IMO 😡

Get rid of Macey, bring in Marshall as a mentor for Dabrowski over the next couple of seasons. Play Dabrowski in League Cup games etc and when Marshall is ready to retire you’ve got a ready made replacement. Makes sense. Any plan that involves Macey moving on gets my approval. He’s one of our top earners too

How do you know Macey is one of our top earners?

It's now or never for Dabrowski. I reckon he'll be away if he's not starting soon.
 
Damn! I was about to put up' I shot the Marshall but I did not shoot his deputy' when I realise it's 'Sheriff'.

Many years ago we had top goalies, quite often the Scotland keeper. Since then we have had some half decent, and …….. Zibi. And Ofir.

Dabrowski ain’t Ofir, nor is he Zibi.
Decent but is he hugely better than Macey?
I’m not sure.

I dont think there's a lot between them on the viewing so far.
Would he have done better than Macey over the season?
I'm not so sure. In some game, sure but he'd have bad days too.
Not hard with the performances in front of him.

I think he's got ability though, confident lad too.
But that would turn into match confidence with experience and that's very important.
I'd like to see us try and progress him, but expectations at Hibs mean a young goalkeeper is rarely going to be trusted to take the number 1 spot. (I think he done enough in the Hearts game to have kept the gloves until he messed up, Macey coming back in proves that)

Then by the time he's old enough to be experienced, he won't be at all (if he stays here as a number 2)
