A bit late now but I reckon Scotland would easily have beaten both of these teams (Can v SA).

Disagree. Think a better coach would get more out of this squad of players. Watching RSA v Canada and can't believe either of these teams is much better than us. The quality was poor.

Hardly a surprise. In 1991 the Japanese FA kicked off a plan to win the World Cup by 2092, Scotland are still just happy to be there.

The dinosaurs at the SFA wouldn’t even have the foresight to google Japan’s plan, never mind try to copy it, let alone come up with something of their own.

I saw that. If I were in their squad, I’d arrange a mutiny. Turn up at the airport for the next away game. Check-in then don’t bother boarding.
That’s a terrible thing to do to your players
 
Var has to look at Gyokeres getting hit in the face there surely, south african boy in the opening match got sent off for similar

I'd be feared. South American fans aren't the most forgiving.
Get shot coming out the airport.

Was it Columbia where that happened to someone? Scored an own goal or such?
 
France were my tip for the World Cup pre-tournament along with Argentina.
The French were brilliant against Sweden, but I wonder if they have peaked too early.

The BBC this morning trying to add some jeopardy to the game tonight with "Can England beat the DR Congo to progress to the next round"

Let me rephrase - will England stroll past a team 37 places below them in the fifa rankings in what is another easyish game for them.

It's a shame Rocky is injured, I'd love to have seen him half Harry fucking Kane.
