Looks like a decent catch!
Hope your sair throat gets better soon.
Bloody hell! That looks a drop.
It's amazing. And under £50 a bottle.Bloody hell! That looks a drop.
It's all relative, Doc. A bottle of bog standard Macallan will set you back £75 easy these days. Likewise a Lagavulin 16.Cheap as chips.....

It's all relative, Doc.
Unlike your good self, of course. My relatives are all cheap.
It's a good 'un. You'll love it.SWMBO told me to order a whisky for Father’s Day from her so I have ordered the Bruichladdich “Classic Laddie” to continue my exploration of unpeated Islay Malts. At £34 on Amazon it seemed a reasonable deal.
After a year of 'partaking', I can confidently say that any malt you think you can afford will turn out to be a wee foretaste of heaven. In Morrisons yesterday which is not our usual shopping gig, i noticed they have a few malts on at very reasonable discount.
Dunno if they're good deals as i dont partake.
Correct! Straight into the top ten. It's a good 'un. You'll love it.
It’s in my top 5 too. Really enjoying the Bruichladdich as well though - any more unpeated Islay gems?On holiday in Yorkshire and took a bottle of Bunnahabhain Stiuireadair. Honestly, the best entry level supermarket whisky you can buy. Non chill filtered and natural colour. Great value, even at full price. A total steal when it's a Clubcard offer.
Those are the only two unpeated distilleries, unfortunately. All the others are on a sliding scale from a bit peaty like Caol Ila to being peat carpet bombed by Laphroaig. Funnily enough, Bruichladdich do an ultra-peated release called Octomore, which is essentially vindaloo for peat lovers. It’s in my top 5 too. Really enjoying the Bruichladdich as well though - any more unpeated Islay gems?
Sounds nice... but care to interrogate your taste buds for some clues re flavour for us wi the tongues hanging oot?Tullibardine sovereign is very nice but strange tasting in a good way
