Van Veen turns 32 in the summer. Yes he's had a terrific season, his best as a professional. I'd be really surprised to see him make a "big money move" at this stage of his career. Most players generally don't tend to play beyond their mid 30's bar the exception of maybe a handful of super elite players still in the game. As well he needs to be playing regularly. A club like Hibs or dare I say Aberdeen would be the ideal fit if he was moving on.
