Tv series

Plenty to watch though. I can pick my way through the ones that I'd have an interest in .

Stu watching the Jesse James episode now. The geezer is good at what he does.

Started watching “Those About to Die” on Amazon, pretty good. Chariot racing scene was impressive. Anthony Hopkins always a good watch.
"Nos perituri mortem salutamus" was a line in which Cat Stevens song?

[fun quiz to distract us all today]

You should get the book Those About To Die.

A history of the 'games'. Brilliant read.

Watched a couple of episodes last night and the rest this morning. There are a few impressive scenes right through. It’s very good.

I watched Phantom of the Open on iPlayer. Based on a true story about a bloke who just decided to enter the Open despite having never played golf in his life. You maybe have to like golf to like this. It'll take a non golfer to watch it and advise.

Maurice Flitcroft. Our golf society has an award named after him for worst drive on the first tee at our twice yearly trips. I won it last year. 🙄

Don't tell me you're a member of Blythefield Country Club. They feature in the film.

Hotel Cocaine
Based in Miami in the 70’s
About “The mutiny club and hotel”
A supposed hotel and club free from the violence etc that comes with the territory of the cocaine violence.
Cubans, DEA and then the columbians involved…
70’s music and some very hot 70’s women..
The opening credits are an eye opener in itself 🤣
Really enjoying it 👍

Watching a couple of episodes of Nightmare Tenants Slum Landlords.

How difficult is it to get rid of rodent tenants!!

Caught up with this mockumentary comedy from a few years ago and loved it so much, I binged all three series of it. The story of two cousins, Kurtan and Kerry Mucklowe and their life in a small Cotswold village, very funny. Special shout out to Kerry's mum who is only ever heard but not seen!

If you've never watched it, do yourself a favour, it's hilarious! (On iPlayer).

The Sinner on Netflix, 4 seasons, all excellent. Bill Pullman plays the lead cop, it's a different take on most cop based thrillers. Each season is a different case. Good stuff.

Going to give this a bash.

I've started Twin Peaks,, which I didn't watch back in the day. It's alright but some of the acting's a bit lumpy.

Absolutely off the scale eh! Up there with the best episodes from the original GoT series 🐉
Just went tae watch episode 9 of HOTD and there isnae an episode 9. Season 1 had 10 shows so I expected season 2 tae have the same. What a shitey ending.

That’s nippy! Looked all set up for a big pagger this week but seems we’ll have to wait another 1-2 years?! 🙄

The Mrs and me binge watched Love and Death on ITV player. True story about an affair which led to murder in the Texas bible belt area. Slow to start but worth sticking with. Brilliant soundtrack from the era its set in (late 70s - very early 80s)
