I thought Succession played out pretty well in comparison to other stuff.
They closed it out before it jumped yon shark.
I knew there would be a final bodyswerve, but my bets didn’t see that one.
All in all a brilliant series.

Watched a bit of that last night Jimmy, the rest just now.
270m what they held their hands up for. how much more? Scary.
 
The Overlap on tour:Ireland is worth watch.
Roy keane and Gary Neville are amusing and the best sports journalist/presenter Kelly Cates make for good entertainment.
The scouser is a.**** tho.
 
Can't believe the BBC are rerunning Staged.Two actors spouting pish for quarter of an hour is scraping a very well scraped barrel.
 
Episode 1 brilliant so far. A world that has changed for us auldies 😉

The lassie that was in Chumbawumba is one of the writers/directors Alice Nutter
 
100 foot wave- Sky Documentaries. I thought Speedway riders and motorcyclists were crackers but these folks are worse
 
Finished Succession over the weekend, brilliant viewing, glad they ended it after 4 seasons before it fizzled out (like so many others). Also glad I avoided this thread for spoilers!

Season 2 probably my favourite with the Scottish Episode. Tom and Greg “The Disgusting Brothers” were great providing the comic relief along with Roman (the bit where he accidentally sends the dick pic 😂).

Would agree the constant backstabbing and switching sides got a bit much by the end, could barely keep up.
 
For anyone who enjoys animal rescue type programmes Hope for Wildlife on Sky Nature is a good watch. It's about a rehab centre in Nova Scotia Canada where they take in animals large and small , heartwarming tv
 
I've been watching The Knick with Clive Owen. It's excellent - a sort of 1900 Dr House.
 
Watched 3 episodes of the new series of Black Mirror, first 2 not that great but the 3rd one “Beyond the Sea” fucking hell! Interstellar meets Tales of the Unexpected on acid.

Am actually watching that exact episode right now.

I liked the first 2, Joan is awful was a headscratcher but worth it for "what about Cate Blanchett?" "Fuck her!" 😂😂

Loch Henry Def left me open mouthed at the end for reasons I won't talk about.

Under the sea is fascinating.

Anyone watch mythic quest? Hugely underrated show, but the stand alone episodes are works of art

Aye, I enjoyed it way more than I thought I would.

The first stand alone episode, about the couple meeting and creating the game, is excellent.

Me too. I didn't initially watch it because I love Sunny in Philly and couldn't see Rob McElhenney as anyone other than Mac, but he's great in it

My favourite bit was when Roman bought his dad Hearts for his birthday because "It's your favourite team" only for dad to tell him "Hibs are my favourite team.

I watched them all and thought they were terrific. It led me back to watching all the other series in reverse order and it seemed that they gor less slick as they went back in time.

I’ve not watched them all but I like that they’re all standalone episodes so you can watch them in any order. The robot dogs one from an earlier series probably my favourite!
