Oh I think it's about tariffs alright. They are key to rebuilding American manufacturing which is the core of his platform. And he also now can't spend the 175 billion raised so far. I'm sure he's also miffed at being challenged, but tariffs are central.
 
Presidents fighting the SC is nothing new. FDR tried to pack it with his own nominees in the 30s when it repeatedly struck down his New Deal legislation. The SC has always been a political football.
 
So, after claiming that British troops were mere bystanders in WW11, Iraq 1&2 and afghanistan, he has now very publicly chucked the toys again because we refused ( initially) to let them use some airfield to launch an attack on Iran.
He is in my lifetime the most childish and stupid world leaders ever.

Apparently the US is looking at the idea of partial waivers of oil sanctions on Russia to mitigate against the oil shortage. The bastards might as well start bombing Ukraine themselves. Meanwhile oil tankers from the US bound for Europe are doing a Starmer and heading for Asia instead.

He has really fucked up big time. Potentially bringing half the world to a stand still.
Even those who made excuses for him, because apparently the good guys were going after the bad guys have went strangely quiet.
The cretin needs stopped pronto. I don't know what the world could do to make Americans waken up to the fact that they are losing all credibility .
Boycotting the World Cup must be on some counties agenda. Any other country acting like they are would face such action.

The governing body has no morals. Individual nations maybe more so. Though I take your point they went to Qatar for example. But if Qatar had invaded another country and started a war a few months before the tournament, I think questions would have been asked.
Surely Iran can't go? And if they pull out others may follow.
Not that the yanks will care much if "soccer" turns their back on them, but big business might not be too pleased with the big orange twat.

I’ve said previously that the world expects an American president to be a statesman even if their foreign policies are detrimental. Then we got this utter fucking wanker. Who fucking comes out with a comment like that in a war where people in both sides are being killed and he treats the whole situation like a stand up comedian?
I’ve admitted to never being a great fan of loud mouthed evangelical Americans but until now I didn’t think an entire nation could be insane.
 
Expects the UK and other allies to secure the Strait of Hormuz. Thought the war was already won but?

Basically: “I’ve created a big mess can you help me clean it up?” (But delivered in a snidey and threatening way) Couldnae mark his deck wae a blowtorch.

EU is gonna have to get used to it though, the rupture with Trump is apparent and only real optimists now thinking it might correct itself in future with a new Pres.

Democrats are just waiting to get in after the mid terms, at the moment they are weak and it shows as Trump just does what he wants unapossed. Guys a loony, his next bug thing is going to be Cuba then onto whatever else he wants to do.
 
Trump is a man in a hurry.
He knows he is going to lose the house in the Midterms and he will thereafter be pretty much a lame duck president.
Therefore he is thinking about his legacy, hence everything he wants to do is being done now whilst he can still do it.

The Democrats are one of the main reasons Donald Trump is in the White House.
A complete disaster they have been in the last few years, kidding on the American public that Biden was well enough to stand again for a second term when a blind man could see that he was ill. Then they go for his vice president to replace him...someone who was aligned to everything unpopular that happened during the Biden era....you couldn't make it up.
Trump appealed to enough people with his populist message of easy answers to complex problems, and they remembered they were better off when Trump was president before, compared to Biden's time and they opted to give him a second go.

Said it before, I personally don't think Trump will see out his remaining three years in office.

After November you will see Vance and Rubio competing to be the next Republican presidential candidate.
Whoever wins will fight it out with Gavin Newsome for the top job.
Democrats need to get their arse into gear though if they hope to win in 2028.
They have moved so far away from the real concerns of ordinary working class Americans, and became far too obsessed with crank minority issues.
