So sad and predictable that every batshit crazy things he says gets analysed to death. It says loads about him losing his facalties but just as much about the media but also those that still read it. Stopped listening to stories about trump 6 months ago as is a waste of time dissecting nonsense. Those looking for some sort of reasoning behind his behaviour I do worry about as he clearly has none.

I’m old enough to remember when the American president was a statesman. You might not have agreed with their policies but they mostly had the good grace about them. The current incumbent is an utter disgrace to the office. The day he breathes his last can’t come fast enough. Perhaps then the USA will reclaim its common decency

And to be honest I've not seen any Democrat who looks like they could run America.

Are you asking about Trump’s lawsuit? He’s actually sued for $5 billion I think but according to the radio just now, if the BBC settle they will probably do so for about 10 million. There are just over 28 million license fee payers in the UK so it would be about 35 cents per license.

Apparently to defend the case in Florida it would cost about $100 million and Trump knows this.

BBC says 5. Either way it’s a lot of money. The BBC’s defence will probably be that they were reflecting the outcome of the Senate Enquiry which found that Trump had incited the riot. But it’s an expensive mistake for what was a piss poor edit. There are processes to stop this sort of thing happening and I don’t understand why they didn’t nip this in the bud before the programme transmitted

It won't be until their next premium is due we'll feel the pinch😆 Maybe Martin Lewis or compare the meerkat will come up with something 🤔

It is indeed. Best country in the world imo, though it does have continental scale on its side so hardly a fair comparison with most.

Seems absolutely mental to me that people would write it off because of who is in the Whitehouse at a given moment. But we live in an age of extremes I guess.

I am a regular visitor and find most people to be lovely. But the government isn't exactly putting out the welcome mat right now.
