Even though it's early days and they will pick up, the realisation is dawning I think with them that they are back where
they usually are after last season's aberration. Vrancken is getting slaughtered already, and a defeat by Hibs in the derby in a few weeks will put him under huge pressure even this early on.

Motherwell got a good result, and even though the tie is far from over, I expect them to get through against Helsinki.

Huns should also still get through after a 2-1 away defeat, although by all accounts they were far from impressive.
McInnes will know if he didn't know already that you have to win every game when you are an Old Firm manager, he has never had to deal with that sort
of expectation and pressure before. It will be interesting to see how he copes with it.

Rubbish , he dealt with that kind of pressure week in week out while he was manager of one of the other big three
 
Didnt deal with it that well at the pbs iirc. They are still deluded over on kickback. Only 1 poster was brave enough to say they arent close to being competetive in the conference league. The rest say the manager needs time and nobody wants a foreign coach to succeed in scotland. I think everybody would happily have taken the recently departed well manager. A few have actually critised they cant defend for toffee but loads still believing all the big team crap. Rapid won 4-1 away last night and have scored bundles this season so another horsing on the cards there. Mcinnes left as he knew he had no control on transfers and seen this scenario coming. Im sure they will pick up once they are out of europe but the excuses that hes new and new players doesnt excuse their horrendous defending and no striker who can score with all their analytic signings. Im sure the pbs faithful will be patient. :giggley::giggley:
 
I'm still waiting on Ewan Murray's match report in The Grauniad. I'm sure he's just late submitting it. Hopefully be along soon.

Btw has alan preston been seen recently. His bit about last season being their worse team in the next 10 years has aged well. I consoled myself last season that all the garbage spouted by the pbs mob would come to bite them on the erse. Schadenfraude i believe its called. Marvellous last few weeks.

Andrew Fasanya (15 years old) came on, albeit late in the game and looked like an attack minded, brave player any Scottish team would/should be happy to give game time.
I wonder how many Aberdeen fans dismissed him as "not ready" without even seeing him play? Or is that just a Hibs thing?

Watched the end of the sheep game yesterday and seen the laddie was playing.

Just a pity none of his team mates played.
 
Killie have played a very attacking formation which against Celtic has just opened up the defence. They could have had a couple but havnt took there chances. Celtic have had alot of chances, and have a striker which they didn't have last season.

True. Celtic teams invariably score goals.
