Todays other fitba.

Ex Hibees Jamie Gullan and Sam Stanton being interviewed on BBC after St Johnstone secure promotion to SPL. Stanton unrecognisable!

Congratulations to St Johnstone for securing promotion straight back to the top league.
They had to deal with the pressure of being strong favourites, but they stuck to their task throughout the season and are deserved champions.
A good, well run club that will be a worthy addition to the Premier League next season.

They weren't favourites😳. First bookie to go up with odds had them at 5-2 joint favourites with the Teuchters, with Pars 4-1, but punters piled-in for County😮, who were 7-4 by opening day. I got 3-1 St.J. in my acca... in which I'm likely to get 3 winners out of 4 for the 2nd straight season (Gunts without the Cheeks, St.J. & E.K.) with Queen of the South sinking the bet for the 2nd year on the spin.
I quite like Perth as an away day. Behind Berwick, Dunfermline, Dumfries & Arbroath, but acceptable.

Tav's away (or will be at the end of the season). To be honest he wasn't anywhere as odious as many many other captains of that club that spring to mind.

Savage business these days
They've possibly the biggest budget in the Premier League, though I'd say Citeh have a slightly bigger one.
They're 7th.
They've allegedly lost five straight League games without scoring.
They sacked the last manager 5 months after winning the World Club Championship🤑🤑🤑.
Guy signed a 7-year contract with arguably the most odious sports club on the globe. The Huns don't even run them close - either in financial shenanigans, boardroom delusion or the ideology of their fans... and I followed them for three full seasons 40 years ago, when I lived in London.
We have the 5th biggest budget in Scotland. We're 5th. Plenty folk on here want Gray fired if we lose this week.

You have to give them credit also for sticking with Fatima Whitbread also 😆

They will pay him monthly, as soon as he takes another job it stops. I’m sure 👀
24M quid I'm hearing on Dutch news, which would bring the amount paid to prematurely-sacked Chelsea managers this century so far to a staggering 200M quid - "ulp", as they used to say :9:
