Today I learned

That was at the garage mate…good reviews and checked the stuff they were using and is the good stuff. Checked on all what they do for the money and it’s good…Not booked anything yet.

I am looking to get my wife's new car done but the guy I want to do it is too busy. We got a good bit more on the insurance claim of the old car just because it still looked good from the paint correction and ceramic coating.

I would be asking about a maintenence package too, they say 5 year warranty. But what is the warranty on? What defects could you claim against? What care of the car and specific products need used to meet the requirements of that warranty? My point is Ceramic coating is great but the warranty is just a marketing tool that will be riggled out of by your valeter/detailer.

It's not really a 5-year warranty as I understood it. They said the coating would last 5 years, but there was no implied recourse if it didn't. Don't get me wrong, if it faded tomorrow, I would be back kicking up shit, but I don't imagine it will. I posted a link for Hattie further up, and I would suggest you call them and ask these specific questions because they're better placed to give you the info you need. The only thing they told me not to do was go through a car wash machine thingy, which I never do anyway, since I always go to Bubbles.

Today I learned that the hearts might play alright for 60 minutes, but after that can be pumped. Presume Rinky dink will have taken notes.

The supermassive black hole in the middle of the Milky way, isn't actually massive. It would fit in the gap between the sun and Mercury!

Today I learned the small Swedish village of Ytterby has four chemical elements named after it:
Yttrium (discovered 1794), Ytterbium (1878), Terbium (1843) and Erbium (1843).

All four first discovered from rock samples taken from Ytterby, and they are not the only ones;

samples from Ytterby have also been responsible for the first discoveries of Holmium (1878), Scandium (1879), Thulium (1879), Tantalum (1802), and Gadolinium (1880), making Ytterby the richest place on earth for element discovery.

As an aside, the first pervert was discovered in Gorgie in 1874.

To be fair Billy, I was reading the same article today.Also to the boffins credit and I congratulate them, found the highly radioactive elements Merrickium, Deludium, Delirium and Infearium, in the soil around Gorgie back in those breakthrough years.
The scientist remarked that these radioactive elements have a 7 million years half life and that anyone coming in contact with these elements over the decades unfortunately have become Kryptonite Green with envy.

I dont eat Lamb. Or thought so. Im a hypocrite, I admit it. But having lived 'rural' for years and seen Lambs playing, having fun and then butchered truly bothers/bothered me.
I do love a scotch pie tho, until BOOM, I learned the truth. 🤢🤢🤷😪

I watched a documentary about slaughter houses 8 years ago and don't eat pork or beef any more. Chicken on the other hand… delicious 😂

i used to skive school sometimes and go and work in the slaughterhouse at Chesser Avenue, cash in hand. It didn't put me off pork or beef.
