......but this time a positive one !!!

As one of his biggest critics, I can only say that I thought he was superb today. Did the simple things like retain possession, harry opponents and chase back really well, and also was able to break forward and was unlucky not to score with his looping header.

Perhaps under JC, Brian was not sure of his role or maybe felt pressured to perform. There was some great interplay between Murphy, Chisholm and Kerr on the left side today and combined with Zemamma playing a more central role, we looked so much more comfortable in possession than of late.

One swallow does not make a summer (as Ms Lewinsky will tell you ) but I hope this proves to be a springboard for Kerr and that he will continue to improve under the new boss, whoever that may be.

Well done Brian.

boozy went awol for 30mins in the first half and kerr held the show together

notable that he was the only JC signing that TC started!

Glad to hear.

Like Neil Lennon (Our future manager :rollfloor) he's never going to be the most exciting player. I always thought NL was the glue that held Celtc together during M'o'N's spell. I'd have the little pr'ck in any team I managed, I must say. Haven't been entirely convinced by Brian so far but going by this thread he sounds like the same. So well said, far too many are too quick to slag him.

And I liked that goal the boy scored at Scumland, I must say.

I thought Brian Kerr was Hibs' best man today. Done all the simple things well.

Best performance in a Hibs jersey so far.

As mentioned elsewhere, Brian Kerr played like the player I expected to see when we signed him in the summer.

i was delighted to see everyone giving 100 pc and kerr or hogg MOM AWARD.big rob not fit but had great blocks today so added him now to MOM.

now 3

Well done Brian.[/quote]

Totally agree, likewise I am not a huge fan so far but he put in a great shift

All round great team performance. Today was also Chisolms type of game, thought he done a lot of donkey work for the team:thumbgrin

Lets hope he does silence us, I want Hibs Players performing to their full potential, I don't like criticising Players who are in poor form. The fact is he's been shit (fact) and he has had a good game at Parkhead, so we can all hope that its a new dawn for Brian Kerr.

Thought that was maybe his best performance for us so far. Hope he keeps it up over the next few games.
