Making a hash of a career move. The SNP look calamatous at the moment.
I think when you are so nakedly transparent in your ambition you really need to have it all in place before you strike. He didn't and, for me, that shows very poor judgement. He's revealed himself for no benefit whatsoever. In fact he's pissed off a lot of people who he needs on his sideHe's a good performer in the HoC. Pity he's made such a mess of this he's exactly what the SNP needs in Holyrood.
I quite like this guy. What's he done?Making a hash of a career move. The SNP look calamatous at the moment.
He's made a shop front of himself. Always thought he was clever tae.I think when you are so nakedly transparent in your ambition you really need to have it all in place before you strike. He said he wanted to stand for election to the Scottish Parliament in 2026 but also remain as an MP. Needs this to stand as leader. Small matter that the SNP rules were changed to stop this, to block Joanna Cherry. Also the seat he wanted is held by the SNP. The woman who is the current MSP said she felt pressured by Flynn to stand down. Another SNP MSP called him a prick!I quite like this guy. What's he done?
Done the same thing he took the piss out of Douglas Ross for.He said he wanted to stand for election to the Scottish Parliament in 2026 but also remain as an MP. Needs this to stand as leader. Small matter that the SNP rules were changed to stop this, to block Joanna Cherry. Also the seat he wanted is held by the SNP. The woman who is the current MSP said she felt pressured by Flynn to stand down. Another SNP MSP called him a prick!
Do the SNP really need someone as 'astute' as him in Holyrood? He's a good performer in the HoC. Pity he's made such a mess of this he's exactly what the SNP needs in Holyrood.
Ah right thanks, nothing to get concerned about then.He said he wanted to stand for election to the Scottish Parliament in 2026 but also remain as an MP. Needs this to stand as leader. He thought he could be in two places at once.Down in Westminster and up in Holyrood standing on the sitting MSP's toes into the process.I think someone has had a word in his shell like.I quite like this guy. What's he done?
You won't be the forst - you won't be the last. Me included! You may have read my comment before I deleted it. Completely misread your post and ended up talking shite.
Hastily deleted with a hint of embarrassment![]()
My reply to The RH member.....Do the SNP really need someone as 'astute' as him in Holyrood?
As for good performer, having watched most PMQ's and FMQ's the majority of contributions from MP's and MSP's are predictable scripted performances in my opinion.

Correct terminology Larry. Hand picked interventions weasel like back ups to affirm the initiator. Sometimes adding a wee homily about their constituency whilst doing so, to make sure it's on the front page of their local rag too.My reply to The RH member.....
Wouldnt say it was scripted as such.
More Orchestrated.
Imho one of the worst mistakes parliament has made is allowing tv cameras in. It’s reduced everything to this performative nonense and ensured that all the real action takes place outside the chamber. So it’s not a ‘gain for the democratic process’ either.Correct terminology Larry. Hand picked interventions weasel like back ups to affirm the initiator. Sometimes adding a wee homily about their constituency whilst doing so, to make sure it's on the front page of their local rag too.
