ryanair to dublin

going out to dublin end of october for a christening

theres a ryanair flight on the sat for 22
ive heard stories about ryanair added on taxes for luggage

just wondered if anyone has experiance of dealing with them and how much more than 22 this is gonna cost me

also how long before take off does check in close flights at 8 10 i finish work at 6 was gonna go straight to airport from work

I use them every week, to fly back from Dublin. However check Aer Fungus as they as just as competitive. 22 single could become easily 70 as they charge for hold luggage and the taxes and other charges vary every flight. If you do fly with them, you can check in on line if you have no hold luggage making it easy. I used to take their 8.00 am flight and would leave Livi at 6, but then I always pay for priority boarding.

Summary, only use them if there is no other option for Dublin flights.

thanks for that aer fungus are 78 pound return which is a big jump from 22

i will deffo have hold luggage as i am staying for 3 days and taking my kilt
so aer fungus looks the best bet

Ryan air do a special deal where u don't get a seat but get strapped to the wings. Nice one. If you pay a special surcharge and can do a passable east european accent they'll even let you fly the plane.

Avoid Ryanair like the swine flu. Cheap. nasty, misleading, union-busting, horrible wanks. Aer Lingus every time - not even much more expensive.

Sadly, they're 30% owned by Ryanair :doh

Someone posted on here while ago this site here which you can use as a virtual visa electron card, thus letting you avoid Ryanair's crazy credit/debit card charges. Saved me a few quid booking flights over for the Shamrock game in July :rodpetrie:
