Rumour.

Think we were in for him when his last Wigan contract was due up, apparently tried to low ball and and he re-signed with Wigan. Pretty sure we ended up with Ekpiteta and O’Hora instead…
I remember it as him asking for crazy wages…. But i may be wrong 🤷‍♂️

I think we low balled before he went down south? Then had half a chance sometime in-between, but he ended up flying into form for them.
Then we couldn't afford at the last offering?

Could be wrong on all 3, I think alot of the chat around him is always just rumoured?

O'Hora has been a decent signing.
Ekpiteta didn't really get going due to injury iirc?

He has been decent, Ekpiteta didn’t look great but was hampered by injuries and having the hopeless goalie (who’s name I’ve forgotten) behind him.

I think Kerr would have been better than both, and that’s ultimately what we should be aiming at. We should be going for him again, to ma having a core group of Scottish players is essential.

Scottish players should make up the bulk of every squad in Scottish fitba.
The SFA should be insisting that that should be so.

Kerr would be better than both for me too. Where he sees himself playing is the only question. If he's wanting to come back up the road we should pull out all the stops.
Celtic, Hunco, Hearts and Aberdeen could be competing and we can't rely on him being a Hibee. Show him the wage packet!

I actually preferred Ekpiteta when they 2 had to play together, he was brilliant in the air (O'Hora quietly is too) but Ekpiteta was a weapon when we had corners. Played to the back post, he'd knock them back across.

Things could've been different for him I think. But I wouldn't have changed Rocky for anything last season, he was a titan. So it all worked out.

Agree.
Guessing it didn't suit one or more of the bigots at some point?

We only need to have 2 homegrown players in a match day squad and no rules on the whole squad.

The only thing making anyone have Scottish players is the euro competition requirements. 8 needed in a 25 man squad.

Big Marv has a twin brother called... Marv.
Marvin and Marvel .

All that shite wi his strip on a corner flag tae Stu. Stole a wage for 3 years the cvnt.
When in the mood he was capable of so much that he could have netted several million for Hibs and a lucrative few years for himself. Sadly he only turned it on a few times - net result is he basically wasted his time here and will be very lucky to find a club at a good level.

Really surprised at the reported interest in Chaiwa.
He is a good young player, but hardly a world beater.
Only really established himself in Hibs first team around half way through the season.
They must see real potential though, and if he wants to go and we get offered really good money then that will be it.

I think hes brilliant. Imagine him and Mulligan together. Add McGrath to that mix and I think you've got a midfield that emulates McGinn. McGeough and Allan.

I like him, but I think he's one of these players that stands out on a spreadsheet.

Always thought he was the actual prize in the Klidje deal.

Controversially always thought that midfield was more impressive before Allan joined it.
Preferred the trio of McGinn, McGeouch and Fyvie.

Allan playing changed McGinns job.
The game Allan had to sit out and McGinn scored twice against Celtic stands out as my evidence.

John didn't get to run when he played.

Should be pushing up the prices on the back of the Bowie deal, tell anyone interested this is the figure take it or leave it. Would rather not sell him anyway and i bet the club feel the same

I don't think we get anywhere near the £7m now they're relegated.
Alot of that will have been bonus based and staying in Serie A would've been a good chunk of that.

But despite that..... the Smellies would still make a bid of £250,000.

(Payable in instalments)
