Bottom of League 3 and facing dropping out the league , I've not known things quite so bad

They were a favourite along with Accrington in my BTTS bet a few years ago. Not doing as well these days though apparently.

We discussed this yesterday during the PD game.
Stunned at the clubs gone from the top 4 divisions in England & Wales.
Notts county being probably the most famous, but many others.
Darlington, Barnet, Aldershot, Bury, Southport, Torquay, York, Chesterfield, Halifax, Macclesfield and probably a few more we couldnt think of.

Oldham!

Oldham and Chesterfield were good clubs.
In the old days the teams league status was pretty much protected in both England or Scotland.
Changed days.
Indeed.
East Stirlingshire a prime example.
Bottom of league 2 for years. Now in the bottom 4 of the Lowland league.
With the Blue Brazil just above them.
Berwick slightly better mid table.
Brechin being the odd one out by topping the Highland league.

Rochdale-conjure in my mind a picture of a folder of Esso football tokens, and there they are sitting next to Rotherham.

Any particular reason why you follow Rochdale? When I lived in Manchester in the early 80s I used to do some ground hopping, and went to Spotland on at least one occasion. Rochdale were playing Bury, I think, so a local derby. They had just signed Willie Garner on loan from Celtc. One of the Rochdale fans had an Irish tricolour to welcome him.

And all these records?

You’re not married are you.

Marriage is a life gig. I read the contract.
Before committing to it I was instructed to ditch my collection of NME's dating from 1976-84.
It seemed a good trade for regular meals, washing and ironing, respectability etc.
All my remaining crap (hi-fi, guitars, amp, vinyl, cd's, tapes, music books and magazines, fitba and concert programmes etc) has it's own room ... and isn't allowed out of it!
My wife informs me she is giving it all away after my funeral which is apparently soon.
I guess this is how the good shit ends up in charity shops.
