Pre season

Regarding greyhounds as pets. I had two at different stages of my life both ex racers. The first one had a few injuries and his health wasn't too great. The second one a few years later was from ",the retired greyhound association " the guy came out done an interview with us , then came back a week or two later with "Shug" beautiful black greyhound. We had him for a good few years until his health detoriated also. Both of them were superb as pets. I have tried to get one out here but to no avail.I now have two Bernese Mountain Dogs. Another story for another day.

Wonder if we'll also get the North stand or will it just be those three blocks?
I'd be fairly sure they'll only give us the far side, though they might have to open more than 3 blocks.
That stand holds around 2,800.
It's difficult to say how many briefs we'll shift🤔.
I'd say 1,500 Hibbies is possible for this. Anything over that would be impressive.
It's before the school holidays.
I'd categorise this is a "semi-prestige" friendly, so we're unlikely to field many trialists & kids. We're likely to have a respectable number of 1st XI players on view.
However, it is 3 weeks before our opening Conference League qualifier, should we get there. It's not as if it's our final warm-up game.
Neither the Hibs line-up nor the opposition are much of a factor in crowd numbers for this. It's a couple of days on the lash in Dublin.
Rovers will be in the middle of their season. They host Galway the previous Friday and are away to Sligo the following Saturday. Their first Champions League qualifier will be on July 7th or 8th, just a week after our visit.
