Five goals scored and none of the goals scored by a Gunt, excellent. It's a pity more of the trumpets hadn't made it through to Livingston to watch that shambles. In the grand scheme of things, getting horsed out the cup is not a big deal. But it does show a glaring lack of depth in their squad and Neilson's inexperience and/or Levein's fuddery.
It was a bit of a gubbing and I'm sure they would like to have won, but it the general scheme of things it matters not. They wouldn't have been taking the game all that seriously as like ourselves we have far more important matches to concentrate on, hence the reason they played so many young laddies. Hearts have a tough game away to Raith Rovers on Saturday and it will be interesting to see how they get on there.
