Little things that annoy you.

Yep they are pain down my bit as well mate as they hurtle down the road.

The local wee yins all play out in the street and it's quite a bad bend in the road.

I'm going to assume you're at the wind up. Why I've no idea. Enjoy your day.

Having to show young un's how to set up a modern telly.

Eeeee I mind the day bairns showed me how to set up a telly or phone.

I took one to task recently as he shot past on the pavement and he shouted back I'm Eleven!
Future in law I reckon.
During the time I was still employed, a teenage fuckwit riding a scrambler wanted to pass me on a countryside track while I was walking my dog. A countryside track that had loads of signage around stating motorcycles were prohibited. So I refused to get out the way, causing him to come to a halt. Then I pulled out the bikes HT kinglead and took it to my work telling the lad to send his parent along to retrieve it. He had to push his scrambler back to his house about a mile and a half away.
Funnily enough, his parents weren’t keen to get the HT lead back🤔

Did you? You must have learned that since we gave you refuge 😤
Nope, I learned it setting up our new telly in the lounge ( you Moredunites call it a living room) with my missus. Got the same model for the boudoir (bedroom Jimmy) so it would be easier tae set up.:giggley:

Aye right. The chores you bought them from had tellys already set up by us

This bugs me anaw. Sim cards changes, WiFi problems, anything at all to do with the devices that are welded to their paws or any other slightly techy stuff.

Its completely wrong. Young folk should be showing oldies how to do these things.

I couldn't understand how no one in rat bairns hoose could set up the telly.

It basically does it itself these days.

Three teenagers in the hoose and the auld grandad had to come to the rescue.

I can handle that but not the best with tech. Don't have too as have two boys who are totally tech savvie. Modern technology leaves me cold. Prefer my old Walkman listening to the housemartins to Spotify with so much choice. Technology making kids dependant on it and unable to communicate or do anything that involves using your brains and figuring things out. Use to be kids were all brains and no common sense. Even the brains bit is missing in loads of them. Not all as there as some great smart kids out there. Just not a lot of them.

International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA). You know those funny hieroglyphics you get on Wikipedia that are supposed to indicate how a word is pronounced? I can't make head nor tail of them and have to look up what they mean, which kind of defeats the purpose.
