Lent starts today for 40 days and I am going to give up my Red wine for this. Still have a beer and a Irish whiskey now and again tho.

Isn't "Lent" about solid food abstinence - in Germany's Bavaria, Lent signals the start of the strong (as in stronger) beer period, you don't need to stop drinking here ...
