Knife Crime

'Knife arches' have seen some use here for a while. I'm not certain of their effectiveness though. The story that this pic came from reported on its use one lunchtime in Nottingham. Result: no knives discovered, two were found with drugs on them.

A great many of the stabbings - and indeed a lot of the violent crime is carried out in the early hours. It's usual to see a time stamp of around 3.30am or similar. Usually in very public places too - perhaps the Edinburgh equivalent would be Princes Street or George Street etc. It feels like there is a different and separate society that enters the city at those times, lots of gangs, engineering meet-up with other ones. There also appears to be a recent trend of very young people using knifes - children basically, aged 12yrs and up. Lots of blades being hidden in shrubberies and the like in case of being searched, then returning to collect them.

Case in point being 2, 12 year olds under arrest for murdering a 19 year old in Wolverhampton.
Two young lives ruined .

Just been reading about the stabbings in Dublin.

3 Bairns and 2 adults stabbed apparently.

There's a clip doing the rounds of locals arguing with a geezer telling him to fuck off back to where he came from. I'll see if i can upload it.

As far as I can make out he's saying not to start rumours.

Just been reading that locals are berating the bizzies

Centre of Dublin. An Irish Gaelic school apparently. Think one of the Bairns is seriously hurt.

Irish police have detained a suspect after a stabbing attack injured three children and two adults outside a primary school in central Dublin.
The incident happened at about 1.30pm on Thursday outside Gaelscoil Choláiste Mhuire, a school at Parnell Square East, a bustling part of Ireland’s capital.

Not seen anything about it.
Apart from the obvious horror, what’s the outcry from the people all about with the cops and media, far right etc?

I assumed from the description a nasty domestic incident. Ex hubby perhaps. Who knows. Looks like a rough part of town based on some of them lol
Just down from the Spire, very central.

looks like smithfield to me?

edit - my mistake - Parnell sq

Being reported on the social media as an Algerian* was arrested.

For months now any Irish folk protesting mass migration have been branded 'far right'.

Looks like this could end up being very nasty indeed.

*this is being said online. Nowt official yet but it would explain the anger at the media and the bizzies.

One of the children, a five-year-old girl, and a woman in her 30s are being treated for serious injuries.

And it looks like the army have been deployed on Dublin's streets

Ireland must have a massive amount of 'far right' because everything and every protest seems to be by the 'far right'...

Harris called for “calm heads” and warned against “misinformation” as he condemned the “disgraceful scenes” in Dublin.

He said a “complete lunatic faction driven by far-right ideology” was behind the disorder and a number of garda vehicles had been damaged.

Time will tell but i can see the bizzies wanting to keep a lid on things. Buses and the LAUS been wrecked and set on fire.

Police saying its not a terrorist attack its a stand alone attack whatever the fuck that means

Means he's just an arsehole on a rampage rather than having any reason or ideology behind it.

I dont think the issue is terrorism though, they've been arguing against an influx of immigrants for a while and now (what sounds like one of them) has done this.
Exactly what they were saying would happen.

And constantly being ignored or labelled 'far right' (the comfort blanket expression) has pissed folk off.

There's been protests for a long time all over Ireland.

I think this attack though is a catalyst for more frequent unrest.

The politicos don't know how to deal with the protests hence the comfort blanket 'far right'.

Aye it's the establishment comfort blanket for something they don't understand and can't comprehend.

I'd say the rioting now is the young teams from the schemes.

But ordinary decent working class folk have been marching and protesting about the mass influx of young fighting age migrants for months now.

And if they are protesting against the government then they MUST be 'far right'

It's getting more like a stasi state all the time.
