What a waste of time that loan was.

Didn't play much,at a team that were never going tobe able to afford him.

Would of been better served having a run in our team.
 
Am I right in thinking him and Suto both played as wingers at their previous clubs?

That formation change many are after could be on the horizon...
 
I thought he was an astounding waste of £1m when we signed him. Ticks most of the wrong boxes for me. Seems like we signed him on the back of half a decent season in Switzerland. 8 or 9 goals in fewer than 20 games.

However, in his first couple of months, I thought he looked quite promising. He's stronger than his build suggests, he's fairly quick and reasonably aware of what's going on around him. Clearly didn't show enough for Gray. Difficult to be a Scottish Premiership striker with his build.

Might be worth a run in the team but the "There's a player in there" contingent likely have a big overlap with the "Gray Out!" contingent. Unless no new strikers arrive, I don't see him getting a proper chance. Waste of a fat wedge.

Would like to see us at least try a 433 or 4231 in some of our friendlies. Front 3 of Klidge Elding and Boyle might be interesting. Other combinations are available.
 
Imagine no getting a game for they hammer throwers. Whoever scouted him should be binned. He's no even worth a packet of millions never mind over a million.
 
I think he will be a good player for if he gets a good pre season under his belt. We know he can score goals. Just needs to stop looking stoned out his tit's all the time.

He finished a couple of goals with class and composure. His leap was something to behold. I really thought we had a player.
Then he just seemed to regress, and his body language wasnt the greatest. Let’s hope somebody in the club can convince him to knuckle down and we might get a player out him yet. We are certainly stuck with him so might as well try.
 
He scored I think 4 goals last season in the seven starts he was given.
One of those goals should have been a candidate for goal of the season...his goal at Easter Road against Livingston.
Fantastic piece of skill with his back to goal, skill, awareness, and a superb finish from a tight angle.
He also showed he was good in the air for his height, and very quick.

If you are just going to pump high balls forward and expect him to run about daft and be able to produce some magic from very little, then I would suggest even Maradona at his peak would struggle to produce anything worthwhile from that tactic.
Klidje needs to be played either in a wide role, or played just off a big, physical front man.
I think he is a talented lad who will do well for us next season if he is given a proper chance and we play to his strengths.

Hibs don't just sign players on somebody telling them that there is a lad available in some exotic country who is worth a look.
A massive amount of research and use of analytics is completed before a player turns up at East Mains.
He will have been watched many times over in different scenarios.
Mackay explained all of this in great detail at the AGM and it was an eye opener.
Gray and MacKay also said they expected Klidge back in the summer and that he had a part to play next season.

If things don't work out for Klidge it will almost certainly be because of his inability to settle due to the culture change of playing and living in Scotland.
Many young foreign players struggle to settle here.
Different language, different culture, not knowing anyone..it can't be easy for young lads coming over here in such a situation.

I'm confident we have a player there...if it doesn't work out though then so be it.
However he is here for the next two years anyway, so we have to try to get as much as we can out of him.

I was also thinking of that goal v Livingston.

He was an absolute pest to their defence that 1st half, he showed strength, pace, hard work and a great finish. He definitely has it in him.

Whether he has the character to come back and work hard to get in the team is down to him I suppose.
 
Folk mention "built for the Scottish" and i immediately think of Elijah Just at Motherwell. He's built like an anorexic pencil ffs.
