Yep that’s what i meant.

I don’t think SDG had any choice but to bring Megwa on - Passlack looked burst at about 60 minutes. Of course then he goes and scores but he was hobbling about.

No Zab I was just responding to the post about bringing Megwa on late, nothing else.
 
Serious questions will have to be asked when the dust is settled as to how we didn't make the group stage.

Given the potential draws this was one the easiest routes we had to the group stages. Gent are no mugs and have outspent us but from what we saw over 180 minutes they were there for the beating. Motherwell would have had them gubbed.

Time and time again game management in crucial moments is costing us, this time costing us the millions of pounds that comes with group stage football.

Often think that's our problem, we not only lack some technical nous, we also lack the fitness and (ironically) perseverance to keep up either a decent press or a decent attack.

Absolutely agree. However I don’t expect many questions or any change. We lurch on with the current ownership placating fans with token gestures. We’re not ruthless enough from the top down
 
Chaiwa can make his way to Celtic then, no problem. Way too passive for my liking — me thinks his mind is already made up anyway. Might as well save ourselves the suspense.

And Gray… well, what can you say? Clearly we’re aiming for mid-table mediocrity, because he’s nowhere near good enough if we actually want to progress. That first half was an absolute masterclass in how not to play football. 😴
 
Hibs had more touches & completed passes in their final third, we just didn't play with enough tempo and committed players forward as often as we should. Instead, sit back, slow pedestrian fare handed them the initiative and made them look better than they likely are.

A steep learning curve for some, and sadly for others, they might not be up to this level.

If Hibs are lucky enough to return to Europe next season, they should be acutely aware of the quality that is required to progress to the next level. Feels like a long way, away now.
