why not name these overlooked players and the Div 1 players taking their places ? It makes it easier to see if you have a point that way

I get that folk are pissed off at the favourites thing but as a country we're not blessed with loads of young footballing talent.
I also get the 'they won't improve unless you play them' argument. Unfortunately our domestic clubs don't develop them so how can they be expected to mix it up at international level?

Exactly. How many Scottish players are actually playing week in week out in our top 6?
 
Calvin Miller, Elliott Watt, Barney Stewart, Kieron Bowie, Josh Mulligan, Stuart Findlay, Harry Milne, Josh Doig should all be in the national side. I'd have doig starting ahead of Robertson. Hanley should be nowhere the national side, neither should Ralston, Dykes, Adams or Hirst. The teams a clique. It's about who's good pals with Clarke no whose in form for their club side.
