Current and former players.
There's bound to be a few that we've forgotten about all of a sudden on the bench. Some countries have still to confirm squads. But for starters:

Scotland
Grant Hanley
John McGinn

Australia
Martin Boyle
Anté Suto

Congo DR
Rocky Bushiri

Greece (prov)
Nectar Triantis

Junior Hoilett

Has Rocky not got ACL injury?

Meaning he wont be there.

Probably the easiest time to qualify for tournaments to be fair bud. He's probably the worse manager we could have qualified under as is arrogance and stubbornness is holding us back. We should be picking players on merit and current form not on how their relationship is with him. Our teams a clique. We'll do nothing this summer either in my opinion.

You cant honestly say he is a bad manager.

How often do Scotland end up winning a group as 3rd seeds?
Denmark are no mugs,neither are Greece.

Reason he got the job was for an incredible season at Killie.
As soon as he left....They went back to shit.

His football is far from exciting...but he always has a game plan up his sleeve.

He's no the worst we've had but he is replaceable. We only beat Denmark because they were down to 10 men. Had it no been for Belarus we wouldn't have qualified. I think personally he's holding us back. Imagine having a Jens Berthel Askou at the helm with the players we've got currently. We'd do the damage at tournaments. Instead we're picking players based on their relationship with Steve Clarke rather than picking players based on what's best for Scotland. It's why we'll never do anything at these tournaments under him. It's never been more easier qualify for tournaments btw.
 
Clarke is quite possibly Scotland's best ever manager.
He certainly will be for sure if we manage to get through the group stages of this World Cup.
International management is all about getting the most out of what is available to you, and IMO Clarke has done that.

As a nation, we have a few international standard players, but not many.
He is having to select from an limited pool of talent, as many players are either not playing regularly, or are playing at too low a level.
I would be quite pleased if he signed new deal, however after seven years in the job I am quite surprised that he is keen to stay on.

Agree with a chunk of that,
My only issue with Clarke is how scared we look at the actual tournaments.

Get to the dance to sit like a shy bairn.

Gutted for him but needs to be fit ASAP for us.

That's backfired badly for the club who were probably hoping to sell on in the summer. Hasn't had the greatest season due to injuries. Nowhere near the influence he was in 24/25.

When Denmark went down to 10 men...it helped. But we were definately giving a game.

We can also thank other teams...but drawing in Denmark was massive.

Were not blessed with a whole team of incredible players..just a sprinkle.

But Clarke gets the best out of them.

We have plenty of talented players in our league being ignored for championship and league one jobbers south of the border. Don't expect anything to happen in this tournament mate that's all I'm saying. I'll still be cheering us on obviously I'm just bored of this old toad.
