Been released from Yams according to SSN.

Thought they were looking to make big bucks on him.

Would take him short term - better than sol and hogg

I don't know about him being better than Sol but he's definitely better than Hogg, so yes I would take him.

Just because he's greedy doesn't make him a better player than Bamba, every man and there dug kens that the yams pay over inflated salaries and Goncalves thought he could milk them for a bit more but he thought wrong obviously!

So because your opinion differs from mine that means that yours is right and my one is wrong and that I am thick, aye ok then Einstein.

I'm sure British Mensa will come calling for you soon, because one of the main characteristics their member's require is the ability to slag someone off for having a difference of opinion:115:
 
Goncalves is a far better player than Bamba and I'd have him at Hibs if we could get him.

Mensa invited me to join them for free and for nothing! :glassraise: They have different types of membership you know! Even thick folk can get in, but they pay the most - quite clever actually :hmmm

Both would be brill, Bamba is what he have and he is great! Goncalves would probably be greater :g:

You where trying to take the piss because you thought my opinion was nonsense before I called you a smart arse hence, the fact I called you one!

You are completely entitled to think that my opinion is nonsense but trying to make me look stupid because you do is not on, I can do that perfectly fine on my own thank you very much so my wife tells me anyway!

Why can't you just be honest and admit you where out off order, I shouln't have taken the bate and called you a smart arse but when somebody offends you it's hard not too!

I'd say Bamba is far stronger than Goncalves and wins nearly every ball in the air, also more versatile being able to play different positions. Given the choice I'd rather have Bamba in the middle of the park as he's a strong tackler and is capable of driving runs.

Grab yourself a thick skin it's as you say only opinions, I would piss myself if someone called me a wanker or whatever,I'm a baiter not a bait taker, it's a forum and as I have said before it would be shite if we all agreed , in saying that Bob1875 is a pillock lol

Goncalves is a very good player. A player good enough for a better league than the SPL. A far better player than Bamba.

But IMHO Bamba is a very good Hibs player.:wink:

He is a very good Hibs player,thats what he is...Not premiership, not Serie A, not Bundesliga,i had a yap with Bambino about this,Yes he has his failings, if he never ,with his build, athleticism and attitude he would be playing these places,but without going over them again,there's lots he falls down on,lets enjoy him at Hibs,not make him out to be a world beater and a one man team as our form for the last 7 months at the back when you consider we had 40 goals up top from 2 players has been terrible and he should be the King pin in there,not Hogg.

OK i must be missing something cause Goncalves left the Yams 2-3 months ago as his contract had expired. Think he only played a couple of games since xmas cause he wouldn't re-sign and remember at one point fat jim came out and said he only picked him for a game cause they didn't have enough fit players.
To be honest he is a better player than Bamba and would do a job for us but no chance of it happening. The Huns are ment to have offered him 15,000 a week and he knocked it back.
 
As much as I rate Bamba and chuffed he's still at us Im honest enough to admit Goncalves is a better all round footballer than Bamba and I think he will play at a higher level in his career than Sol.

Saying that he's a gunt **** who done wee Ivan a few times on the sly so he can gtf :hiya:

Never noticed this post last night mate, more I think about it your completely right.

I do think Bamba will move back to France and play for a good team, Boumsong was miles better than him and never made the Premiership for instance. He's too laid back too to make it at the very top.
