"The SPFL have decided they will not request clubs play the UK national anthem this weekend and leave it up to each individual team.

King Charles will be formally crowned on Saturday and clubs in England have been asked to play God Save The King with players standing around the centre circle. The English Premier League and English Football League have reportedly been asked to show an official portrait of the King and Queen Consort on their big screens during the tribute, with the image also being printed in match day programmes.

That led to speculation that the SPFL could follow suit but Sky Sports News report that the governing body won’t make that request to clubs. They will instead allow the six home clubs this weekend decide whether they want to pay tribute to the new King on his coronation. That means Hibs, Motherwell, Ross County, St Johnstone, Hearts and The Rangers will make that decision."

I'm thinking this will be an even split.

Hopefully get drowned oot with the 'stick yer coronation up yer arse' song.

Hibs have previous form for failing to read the religious and political leanings of its supporters fairly recently.
