Hector Nicol version is early 60s?

Could the proclaimers be persuaded to reword and re record?

Everything was slower inthe 60s, man....

Think it could work with a slighty quicker rendition. When we win Cups, we are always waiting on Hector catching up!

Like Colin Chisholm did with Hibee Hibernian (my younger brother Billy, God Bless him, did some backing vocals on it !!)
Hector ,who hailed from Paisley, but lived many years in Edinburgh, wrote and sang both GGTTH and the herts song

In 1960/61, Glen Daly wrote the Celtic Song.
His version is still played at Celtic Park.
No! Keep playing the Hector Nicol version.Its part of our history !

I have a recollection of the twins singing Glory Glory in Australia many moons ago. Canny mind if it was a wee concert or TV show.
