bit optomistic being they are well ahead in league...but I hope your correct

End of what has been a very commendable unbeaten run you have to acknowledge...to go unbeaten from August to late January takes some doing in any league and has guaranteed them automatic promotion IMO. Falkirk have put together a decent run of results and I reckon will finish fourth and claim a play off spot. Hearts will probably be a bit up and down between now and May but they are way too far ahead to worry too much about that it pains me to say.

I remember 1985-86 and a few Hibees spent quite a large part of that season depressed as then, as is the case now, they thought that hearts would win the league. History's repeating itself again as - until today, that is - hearts were proclaiming themselves 'Champions' just over the half-may mark in the season .... and look what happened then !!.

14 games to go is 42 points and we're 15 behind just now and hopefully AS is drumming that into our guys that, until it's mathematically impossible ...

Aye it's mathematically possible K but it's unlikely. I'd be as delighted as the next radge if we somehow pulled it off but our problem is we are drawing too many games to make the kind of impact required to chase down the gunts.

I'm living in hope though as there would be nothing better than sticking it to the gunts who end texts with ' mind the gap '
