Reckon Wilder with a late stoppage , should be technically too good

Didn't have much of an interest until I listened to Joe Rogans podcast with Fury. He came across really well, enjoyed listening talk about his past with drugs and depression.

This for me too. I'm not big on boxing, but listening to him, really brought me around to who he is.
Very open, very honest and you can't help but be drawn into him.

I hope he wins, I think he's technically good enough to avoid that fuckin swing, he can wear Wilder down. Work the body and lean on him, make him work the whole time.

I'm absolutely staggered by his weight loss too. He's in fantastic shape, or at least looks it.
Down about 10/12 stone in little over a year?

Fury by points or outworking Wilder til he can't compete.
But it really does only take one scary punch from Wilder. I just think Fury will see it coming, he swings from his heels, all balance out the window.

The reality is that Fury will approach the fight exactly the same way he always approaches all knock-out boxers; negatively as possible in order to win the match by jab points. Wilder will essentially have to hope he runs out of gas late, and knock him out.

I hope that happens.

I think the opposite mate. Don’t think Wilder has any technical ability as a boxer, he’s very one dimensional. Fury is a very talented fighter I think, for a man his size it’s quite something.
If he can take wilder beyond 6/7 he might just do it. But wilder is some lad with his overthe top swinging, very dangerous

How is Fury even allowed to fight, does getting caught with cocaine not really matter in a massive confidence sport these days? Surprised its never really mentioned. Gone are the days when heavyweight big fights were actually contested by genuine world class fighters...

It was out of competition. Just how these things work.

And boxing hasn't been about the best fighting the best for a very long time. It's about keeping your record intact and making as many pennies as you can.

This is actually a fight unlike most. They're both putting their record on the line, I like it.

As far as I can tell they're both pricks, but Fury's a proper boxer and Wilder...well, he could be, but we don't know, because he's spent his pro career beating up nothing boxers without much ringcraft on show. Fury late or on points, unless he's miles rustier than he's presenting

Great fight, rubbish result. Masterclass from Fury, still don’t know how he recovered from that knockdown in the 12th!

Don’t rate or like Fury, never saw the fight. But I saw the knockdown in the 12th and fair play to the big guy for getting back to his feet

Fury donating his full purse to homeless shelters and charities apparently.
Somewhere between 8 and 10M

Wasn't a fan before, but he's won me over the last couple months.
Good on him.

Seems like a guy that's really turned his life around. Good for him, seems like a really good guy. Hope he wins the rematch and calls it a day.
