Fuck The Gorgie

What was Passlack first booking for?
Didn’t see it at the time and I’m fucked if I’m watching the highlights.
Thought at least 4 bookings for the Gunts would have been fair, but I may be biased.
Not as biased as the actual ref.

And I'll not be biased to state we were yet again masters of our downfall.

Got needlessly involved with the Gunt bastard after we'd won the free kick, leading to them both being booked. Just fuckin stupid and needless.

I think the SPFL board have liked the media attention and decided to give hearts the title. Every hearts foul the cards were in the pocket.

One of the m
ost corrupt officiating ever witnessed!

Very poor Hearts team losing to 11 men, losing to against 10 men. And still poor against 9 men.

Fouls committed 8 - 17
yellow cards 3 - 3
red cards 2 - 0

facts dont lie, ref was not a homer.

The simple fact is Hibs will finish 5th (or 6th) because 5 other teams have been better than them over the season, not because of a rash tackle or a silly mistake here and a dubious refereeing decision there - not because David Gray didn’t say what everyone thought he should. If a 5th place finish gives us another shot at Europe it’s progress albeit less than meteoric. Next season IMO is the one that will tell us if our football team (from Malky down) is fit for purpose.

Watched the highlights back and Kingsley wipes out Boyle, passlack is moaning at the ref about it, the ref turns his back and Kingsley pulls passlacks shirt from behind and squares up to him! Absolute shambles of a decision to book passlack like!

To be 18 & 19 points behind the worst Hun and Celtc teams i can ever remember is indicative of our season. And to be 22 points behind an ordinary Gunt team is inexcusable.

Doubtless we’ll beat Celtc next week, and play our own fucked up part in their historic success. We should play the academy lads really, unless you live in fucking Bangkok or wherever.
I would play a couple of promising youngsters but only because the season is effectively over and the laddies get very little chances. Falkirk won't catch us and we won't catch Motherwell so put them in. Hearts will do what they do without help or hindrance from us and if they win the league so be it.
On a personal note, not living in Edinburgh has no bearing on my views or comments on here. I'm nowhere near fragile enough to be in full on panic mode like some and that would be the same if I was back in Leith.
Whilst I'd love to see another team other than Rantic win the league, like some others I'm not sure exactly how that's good for Scottish football. It'll just be a blip with business as usual next season.

I think Boyle could've finished the game tbh.
He turned up, and wanted to do things. That would've carried him through.

I don't think Campbell was a good choice either, I actually like Campbell but he's a very specific type of player. And it's not for when you're defending.

Newell for Barlaser should've been done at half time. Barlaser couldn't pass wind and he's not got the energy and drive to work like we needed.

The initial sub to cover Sallinger was wrong for me.

Should've been Elding for Smith.
Keep the back 3, keep the flat 4 midfield/wingbacks and have McGrath in pockets of space to hunt for Boyle taking off.

Keeping 2 up top, is a strategy, but only when your team knows how to play a back 4 and when your midfield can hold the ball and find a pass.

We're neither of those things.
Have you got a tracksuit with your initials on it?

It looked to me that the gunt player had a go at one of our players, and Passlack put himself in the way, then the ref booked the gunt and evened it up by booking Passlack for pretty much nothing.

Sounds about right. "Evening up the yellow cards" resulting in a relatively innocent player getting carded, and the almost inevitable second yellow to follow.

Unfortunately our indiscipline has gifted them the title
I still don't agree that Sal should have been red-carded, yellow at most, and Passlack shouldn't have picked up the first booking. The ref just did that to even things up. The ref also ignored indiscipline from the gunts, especially when Shankland elbowed the Hibs player in the head, deliberately, in my opinion and that's not the only foul that went unpunished in their team.

A yellow for the 'keeper would have been fair. I don't think there was a prevention of a goal scoring opportunity, that was guesswork on the referee's (and VAR operators) part. That decision changed the whole game.
I think I counted at least another three yellows that SHOULD have been given to Gunts, and the red to Shanklandstein that you mention.

For some weird reason the Gunts are getting treated in a way reminiscent of the Huns of old.... no punishments given to their players yet harsh treatment to their opponents.
It's almost as if money had been wagered by the men in black on a Gunt title success.

Was there no one of them voted onto some SFA committee earlier this season?

Canny believe am still raging about this game. We were well shafted the more you watch the highlights like. Unforgivable refereeing performance from that gimp bastard Robertson.

Not that I'm blaming either of you bastards.

I'll get back to you on that one though. See if I can find my clubs and dust them down a bit first.

Yeah they were head to head. It's a booking some refs would ignore.

We still discuss Albert Kidd today, us winning a couple of matches will be forgotten about in days maybe a few weeks. Not happy but will accept some losses if we get chance to have this happen again.

I thought that Gray got his first sub spot on, Nicky Cadden was never going to have the energy to run about like we needed him to. However, I still think we should have gone 4-4-1, with either Boyle or Elding dropping into the right wing position. Two banks of 4, be hard to break down, and try and get either forward in somehow.

Bringing on Megwa for Elding was another sub I think he got right, I was really impressed with Megwa when he came on, we needed someone more defensive and Megwa over C Cadden was the right choice.

The triple sub was somewhat forced upon him as it was his only other time he could 'stop' the game under the rules, I thought Boyle could have gone 10-15 mins longer, but if he had left him on and only done two subs, Boyle would have had to stay on for the whole game. I guess he could have left it a bit longer but Barlaser was poor and bringing on Newell was probably right at that time.

The minute Sallinger went off, his whole game plan was torn up, and the one he would have formulated at half time only lasted a few minutes after Passlack went off, so I do have a lot of sympathy for SDG on this occasion.

I did say at half time I would have taken off Passlack and Barlaser for Newell and Megwa, as doing a sub at half time doesn't count as one of your game stoppages. It's arguable that a red card offence for a keeper shouldn't count as 'stopping the game' as technically it's already stopped and you are forced to make a sub, but that's another argument. The SFA have many bigger issues they won't sort before they get to that.

Also, yes, Suto was poor and could have done a lot more. Boyle did more running in 10 mins than Suto did in his half hour. Campbell did OK, think he was brought on as fresh legs. I can't really fault many, but Suto and Barlaser needed to do more. Sallinger made a bad error, and I think Smith should have the jersey for the rest of the season now as he deserves it, Passlack should be fined for his stupidity, but he's been a cracking signing overall.

Luckily both Sallinger and Passlack should only miss one game each for their red cards.
