A Labour whitewash in Scotland may still not be enough to keep the Tories out of Downing street.
That does fuck all for Independence. Labour made a horses arse of their time in power under McConnell. If the trend were to continue, independence would become pie in the sky and the only way to get rid of the tories would be for scotland to become labour and the extra seats would surely keep them out . Bit drastic but possibly the only solution![]()
All true, but don’t see any other solution to get away from toriesThat does fuck all for Independence. Labour made a horses arse of their time in power under McConnell.
Plus they have jumped onto the Brexit boat which makes them more toxic.
Scotland goes nowhere under Labour or conservative as a devolved nation.
Devolution has given Scotland just enough rope, if not hang it, enough for Westminster to tighten it when they feel necessary.
Pretty much. If England don't want Labour it doesn't matter what Scotland does. The ONLY way out is Independence. All true, but don’t see any other solution to get away from torieswe’ll just have to put up and shut up then

I'm pretty old school like you Joe and amazed at the British electorate and their choices, but "working class" when it comes to voting means nothing these days.If 45 snp seats went to the labour party and they still didn’t get in then your correct and it really is a lost cause .
It’s hard to believe that there isn’t enough working-class voters to get these tory numbnuts to feck, depressing right enough![]()
The 'working class' has been fooled by Johnson and Farage and their lies.I'm pretty old school like you Joe and amazed at the British electorate and their choices, but "working class" when it comes to voting means nothing these days.
How much worse off do people have to get before they see the light though ?I'm pretty old school like you Joe and amazed at the British electorate and their choices, but "working class" when it comes to voting means nothing these days.

Labour administration backed by tories.
West Lothian for one.Labour administration backed by tories.
That just about sums up Scottish politics.
How many of these administrations are run in the same manner?
Bet there's a few.
?It's all your own fault for not choosing to have millions in the trust fund. /s/
Edit Point. Think I was intending this for the Tories thread. Scummy arses that they are. Someone mentioned Tories here and triggered.
I have a cold. It is affecting me in the brain.
Maybe she has the wherewithal to afford to do so.I see Sturgeon's sis has stated that she would vote tory before voting for either of the female leadership candidates.![]()

It makes you wonder if there are any HONEST politicians .The SNP is an embarrassment to the people of Scotland. Stinks of corruption. Promises a new politics yet indulges in all the duplicitous shenanigans we see down the road. Fifty percent of the population want independence and a decent percentage of the other fifty percent are open to being persuaded. Scotland is ready to embrace independence. Just a pity there's no proper political representation to lead it.
