FC Midtjylland Away Thread

Near enough impossible to travel to the game from our place in Spain. Gibraltar would have been perfect as only 20 mins away but not to be. Just hope we can get through.

Crossed my mind too.

That was some trip.
:popcorn3:
Wasn't just!!

I have some photos from back then. I posted some a few years ago.

Some of them have Alex Miller having a wander in the city centre and being surrounded by Hibs Fans

I'll dig them out and re-post

So we are going tae either Slovenia/Finland, Denmark, Belgium, or Moldova/Kosova.
Cheapest obviously is Belgium and Denmark, followed by Slovenia and Finland. Fuck knows how yi get tae Kosovo or Moldova.
easyJet goto Pristina from Amsterdam.

Just tried to book and the prices are nuts. Over 500 quid to get to Copenhagen alone then you've got a 5 hour train journey to Mittyaland

Similar, had flights for £240, jumped into a meeting and they’d then doubled/the Edinburgh Wednesday flight had sold out.

£188 to Copenhagen early Thurs then can fly to Billund for £80, land at 4, be in Herning for 5. One delay away from not making kick off but it’s an option.

Or fly Edinburgh to Oslo on Weds early evening £166. Then Oslo to Billund Thurs early afternoon £66. Still plenty of options

A tough one, but they were all going to be difficult.
It's good that we are away in the first leg.
Important that we are still in the tie come the return leg at hopefully a packed and noisy Easter Road.

Will be a difficult game.
I don't think they are nearly as good as they were a couple of years ago when Evander was there though.

If we can leave the away game 1 goal down....I reckon we will progress.

My first thought was, never heard of them. Will still be a difficult game but then again, has anybody outside of Denmark actually heard of them? It gives our pre-season preparations special focus: get to physical and mental fitness as quickly as possible.

Did anyone get flights sorted, I am struggling.
Theres a thread on another Hibs site where fellow Hibbys have been posting a few options. Might be worth a quick sketch mate...

See also their away end hold 800+, so a small chance of non Hibs First ST holders getting a chance

Good luck Mark. Almost impossible to fly out from Spain so will just hope we get thru to the next round when Ellie & I will be back in Scotland.
Euan got edin-Copenhagen return £97. He must’ve been quick of the mark
Copenhagen-Herning 3 hours 15m on bus

They've been kicking around euro comps for a while.
Champs league group stages not too long ago.
Late stage Europa league last season too.

Not an easy night at all. But it's a challenge and one we should rise to.
Even if we get beat, we'll give a good account of ourselves.

An upset would actually be a pretty big result! Not impossible either.

It's amazing how many people have probably never seen this team play but are adamant we have no chance
According to the news they have a squad valuation of £65 mill and play in a 12K stadium. I'm not expecting them to be a better team than Rangers and we've shown we can take them. As well a noisey packed Easter Road might help us. We definitely have a chance. 🤞

Mad how they can have a team in Denmark worth £65m and have a 12,000 stadium.
Tv deal i assume… not getting rogered inside out by sky or their national station

Exactly. If there was fair distribution of wealth up here and fair and even playing field off the pitch Scottish football would be in a far healthier state, but those two horrible bastards in Glasgow will never allow it.

Can I be first to ask if anyone has Hibs first reference numbers they aren’t using can you keep me in mind please, ideally I am looking for two
