Edinburgh roads

Bet she made it to work whether there was flooding or not.

You mind the poor geezer who got Weils disease and died a few years back when they were trying to stop the Inch Park flooding?

He had a cut on his hand or leg and it got infected by rats piss or something.
Aye I dropped her off in Glenallan Drive... made sure she went, we needed the dough back then:gigglle:
I remember something about that. Poor sod.

From what I can gather the new tram line running to the Royal Infirmary will be passing Cameron Toll and I would think part of the Inch Park will be utilised.

No idea how that will happen given the constant flooding of said park.

Cameron Toll centre flooded when it first opened if I remember correctly

Aye it used to be constantly knackered. They did spend fortunes.

It will be the usual mess when anything new is being built.

That area is deliberately flooded to save elsewhere!
Aye, the Braid burn changes into the figgate burn at Duddingston and goes through my front garden. It’s about as high as I’ve ever seen it, thank Sauzee the council built the culvert behind my house to redirect a significant amount of water, I reckon I’d be flooded today if not

So it's going to cost a right few quid when the trams are routed down towards the hossie.

Unless they bypass the Inch Park and just dig up Minto Street, Lady Road and Old Dalkeith Road.

So road chaos it is. Thankfully by the time they start this I'll have no much need to travel far.

Stupid fuckin LEZ shit. Traffic is from the bottom of the Pleasance all the way back to Dynamic Earth.

And from the bottom of the Pleasance up past the Commy pool.

The garden party bollocks is on until 7. So avoid like the plague.

Avoid Loanheid/Straiton. It is chaos up there.
Avoid Leith tomorrow!

Apart from the game 😆 the road works on Lochend Road have moved up and there's now 3 way lights at the top of Hermitage Park Grove, a popular parking spot for supporters. I can only imagine it will be a bit mental tomorrow with these lights in place.

The roadworks at the top of Easter Road were still in place last night.

In case you missed it ... you can now turn into London Road when coming up Leith Walk.

Here you go yous folk that need to work....

The Edinburgh Reporter has that every Monday morning Smurf.

If I mind I'll post it. Save some of yous the hassle of sitting in traffic all day.

Three way lights at Gilmerton Road beside Morrisons if anyone is out this way.

Edinburgh roadworks: Eight-week project to repair sewer in South Clerk Street begins this month.

Works to repair a collapsed sewer in the south of the city will get underway on Monday – with Scottish Water reporting the emergency works will ‘take a minimum of eight weeks to complete’.

To allow teams to carry out the essential safely, two lanes of the A7 South Clerk Street will be closed at the junction with East Preston Street. A small section of the footpath will also be affected.

Work will begin on Monday, February 10 and continue until mid April. The collapsed sewer is buried four metres beneath a footpath in Newington. Temporary four-way traffic lights will be in place to manage traffic flow, and some localised parking restrictions will be in place.

Basically avoid like the plague.
