But I just scoffed a square sausage on a roll with brown sauce which was excellent.

When you're abroad sometimes McDs can be like an oasis. You know exactly what its going to taste like and sometimes you can have a beer with it.

I usually sneer at folk abroad who go looking for "Brit grub" as I believe a big part of the whole travelling experience is enjoying foreign cuisine.

However, after being unable to identify far less consume breakfast in Dnipro, I have to confess the red arches in the square was a welcome sight.

Sticking (partly) to my principles I washed the Big Mac down with a few litres of Ukranian lager.

Thats true Jack. I recall once in Spain me and my pals were desperately looking for food to sober us up before golf and the only thing open at approx 7 in the morning was Maccy D. The food tasted ok that day I suppose.

Bacon is very overrated IMO and goes cauld far too quickly. Sausage & egg over bacon every day of the week for me.
