The epl becoming as predictable and tedious as the bigot bros being miles ahead in the spl. Only interesting part is the relegation battle. Haven't watched it this year. Holds no interest now. Much rather watch Porto at Watford or the mighty carlisle.

Dunno about that. They win Champions League and Pep may move on. Plus Newcastle and Possibly Man United having truck loads of money. Also Chelsea having a decent manager it could be tighter than ever.

Where does he move on to?
Theres only one powerhouse left that wants champions league gold and that's PSG.

He's not going to a club that isn't top 3 in Europe, Madrid is out of the question. Xavi will continue at Barca. Italian clubs won't give him the platform to win European gold so I can't see that happening.


Take a few years off maybe?

Like you said PSG is mostly his next destination. Globe trotting to all the teams that already have fantastic teams and feeding his mentality into them.

What makes you say that about Italy? No team good enough in Italy you mean?

I think there's a few good teams, and obviously Inter are his opposition in Europe this season. Mourinho has Roma in a different competition and I think Milan were the other semi finalist.
But I think this season is an anomaly for them, I don't think going forward Italian clubs will be able to keep up with the rest of the European elite.
He will want to be at the forefront of football and Italian football isn't there anymore.

Did consider it, but im not sure he'll be as effective in a national team.

Great manager, clearly.
But to get his ideas across, that's an every day kinda management.

And the Spanish team of today is a decent distance away from the Spanish side he practically built as Barca manager. He'd need to change his whole thing I think.
Although, Xavi at that same club with the core of the spain squad playing his football 🤔 maybe make it work.

I’ve no idea about his politics or beliefs to be honest, just think if he played for Spain there’s no real difference managing them.

Think Hammi is right though, he’s probably not cut out of international management. Too intense and demanding, no enough time to implement it.
 
Barcelona, his first love, would be his last management job I would think. If he wanted it he would get it, no question

Saw Carragher stirring the Man Utd shit the other day saying Pep and this team was a greater achievement than Ferguson in 99. This City team isn’t as impressive as Ferguson at Aberdeen, never mind United.

I've always said that about Pep. He's never been to a club that needs proper work done to it. He'll go down as one or the greatest ever but not to me.
 
IMO this man city team surpasses every other cub side I’ve seen apart from one other, the Barcelona of messi, iniesta, xavi era . Who was manager then ? Oh yes Pep Guardiola 👏👏

I'm no man City fan but when he took over they'd just finished 15 points behind Leicester in 4th place in the league. When he took over at Barcelona in 2008 they'd just finished 3rd 18 points behind real Madrid. Also Man utd, Chelsea and arsenal have probably all outspent man City over the last few years and they're light years behind them. Genius of a manager

You think he could take Tottenham, Villareal, Leverkusen or Atlanta to win there titles in there respective leagues?

Your making it sound like all his team were miles off when he took over but for me your simplifying to much. He took the Barcelona Job with the calibre of players like Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Alaves, Puyol, Busquets and Henry. Considered one of Barcelonas best ever teams.

Villarreal, Leverkusen, Atalanta maybe - spurs no fuckin chance harry Potter couldn't win them the league. Guess we'll never know though cos he only gets jobs with elite clubs - which in itself says something
