Both linked with a move to Hibs in the new year, what are your thoughts guys?

Forrester is a very good player, but definitely needs a bit more weight on him. There has been scouts over watching him all season, particularly since the 5-1 win over the scum (type his name into youtube and you'll find his 2 goals from that game, the lob won our "Goal of the Season" last week and featured on a few shows on Sky Sports. Everton and Reading are supposed to be interested too. He still has another year on his contract

The lob is a thing of beauty, quite a big looking guy? 2 footed?

The opposite actually, far too light at the moment, needs to beef up a tad.

I agree. The same could be said for Finn, in my opinion. I think most League of Ireland players would need to beef up a little when moving to a full time league.

Just watched full highlights of that game, really like the look for Forrester.

An article posted on here a couple of days ago quoted Fenlon saying the rumours linking Forrester and Finn to the club were 'rubbish' yet the quote posted today or yesterday was along the lines of 'they are still under contract - we don't have any money to pay for transfer fees'

I'd rather the club secured Claros & Griffiths before making more signings (which are still needed regardless of our league positions Hibs!) yet the club seem to think we're all fickle indecisive cash machines. I think we need to extend McGivern's loan or get that LB position sorted too.

We can't go a full season with the squad we currently have in my opinion.

I watched Finn regularly before he went to Rovers. He is classy, easy on the eye and passes the ball well. Can get on the scoresheet too. Both he and Shaun Williams were offered to Celtic apparently a couple of years ago at the time they had finished contracts with Fingal, both went over on trial but Celtic didnt want them. Finn went on to sign for Rovers and Williams is starting to make a name for himself at MK Dons. Both of these guys would do well for Hibs.
I only watched Forrester a couple of times, including that game that he lobbed the keeper and he looks the part from the little I have seen. All three of these guys have won the Irish league young player (Williams and Forrester) /player of the year (Finn) award.
