Buying an Xbox 360 Hard Drive

Anyone know where to get a good deal on an Xbox 360 Hard Drive, ideally new and 20GB or above?
 
Not Sure but i just Bought A Xbox today.

Xbox Elite 120g hard drive i think.
4 games. and a extra controller.

I doubt an external drive will be any use to you. the exernal drive will only play back photos/music/video that you have put on the hard drive from your PC. If you want to use it for game saves/xbox live, or even now for the games that you need to install to a hard drive you will need the proper 360 hard drives.

Should be able to pick up the 20gb hdd for next to nothing as a lot of people have upgraded to a bigger one.


Dont know who is doing the best deal on the new ones. sizes available are 20gb 60gb 120gb and 250gb (think the 250 is only available with a console bundle)

i would have thought you could, i think a friend off mine has games saves on a usb stick (altho doubting moreso now) i'll need to ask him now

Seem to go for 30 second hand on ebay, but would prefer a new one TBH.

Ebay is full of 20g ones from Hong Kong and China for 20, but I am very nervous about their quality, any thoughts?
 
spoke to my mate re the external pen drive he uses, he has game saves on it (teams on fifa etc) but he can't save marketplace downloads to it,

as for the buying hard drives from the far east, in my expierience, i got 4 pen drives and they were knock offs, made to look like the real thing, the problem was they were bad quality and wouldn't hold data, so i now pay the extra to make sure,

I manage to source a new 60GB one, from a UK supplier for 40, thanks for your advice guys!
 
Good deal! Was about to say I've got a 20gb in my box of bits following an upgrade
