Another pub bites the dust

Still play?
No mate, I stopped playing when the Railway changed shifts around, meaning a lot of members could suddenly turn up to play, and the committee decided that railwaymen should get first dibs on team places, and despite my not having lost a game that season, I got bumped. My dad, who was a railwayman, was also a skip and he told the committee he'd never play again for them, so we both left.

So narrow minded
Most clubs now can't afford for members to leave. But there still is and still will be internal politics that folk get pissed off with and leave.
