It was a Labour Party member!!! Cannot ever remember them canvassing in this area before. In fact IIRC they haven't had any kind of voter numbers here since Boothby was MP, In those days they were still a poor 2nd, & in the last 40 years the arse has fallen out of their vote totally. Wonder what the strategy is?

Not that it will ever happen, but had it been a thread on Rod Stewart songs ( has he ever penned a song?)it would have been titled 'MURDERER'
 
They came to my door last night.
" can you promise me no more illegal wars" no reply. "Can you promise me we will stop spending billions on WMD while we slash healthcare " no reply. " do you really think Milliband is a leader of men."at that point the young chap dropped his shoulder s and trudged back up the path. I got the feeling it wasn't first negative greeting he had received
They really are finished as a party up these parts. I know very few people who have any respect left for them at all.

I got a knock at door this morning, unfotunately it was a couple of Jehovas. No point trying to convince a Jehova that their end days are nigh, Labour on the other hand...:)

Same here in Leith, lassie just walked off like she'd had a hard day, I don't mind the Leith Labour guy mind you but his views are totally different to what Milliband is saying.
 
During the referendum Labour were bussing them into Perth from Manchester. The old boy that came to my door was from Oldham.

The call centre workers that do the calls are paid from my union subs. Wonder where they are getting their canvassers from - if they are volunteers or workers
