Got a new filter fitted after the old one got broken by a bit of wire. All goes well for 6 months until, all of a sudden water starts trickling out of the cap that is full on tight. I wanted to take the cap off and try and clear anything behind it but its at floor level and its virtually impossible to put a tray or container below to catch the water because of this.

Does this sound like a problem with the pump?

is there not a wee rubber drain off hose next to where the water is trickling out? Mines has 1 and although it took a bit of time to empty it, it saved the floor getting soaked. I then managed to take the draining hose right off the pump and clear the blockage(2 x 50p pieces)

Should we not have a female forum for problems with white appliances? :approve:

Just a thought like :077:
