Having recently sold a flat in Edinburgh I'm thinking about moving out of town and commuting every morning. I've been looking towards East Lothian and Wallyford in particular. Not being an Edinburgh native (although living here for 15 years) I don't know much about Wallyford. Do any bouncers living there or that know the area have any information whats it like? I must admit i like the proximity to Edinburgh and the regular trains. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Typical mining village.
I drive through it going to my sisters i'd say not much has changed since I used to deliver Bon Accord when I was at school apart from loads of new houses having been built. 30 seconds onto A1 Easter Road in 15 mins.
