Vittelo belts

Anyone got one of these (other brands are available) or similar?

I keep looking at these, but at £50 a pop ( more the premium one at least) and no way to see it in a shop, I’m swayed away from making a purchase in case it’s a bag of shite.

I need to replace my two main belts.

I had to Google these, never heard of them before.
The first result takes you to eBay where they're 6 pound odds each.
That seems like an acceptable price.
50 quid though? No chance.

I've got a similar one. It's fancy leather too, and it cost quite a few quid at Hong Kong Airport!
It was a bit of 'holiday treat' rather than a sensible buy.

It's OK but I wouldn't pay the cash for it now from my meagre pension.

I can't remember the last time I got a belt anywhere other than TK Maxx, tbh. Not the sort of thing I ever think that hard about! "Dark brown" about the extent of any qualifying thought.

Me too, sort of, I've only had two belts since probably my teens.

One's a thick leather one for wearing with my jeans with a fairly big buckle and the other is narrower leather with a 'classic' more refined buckle for use on dress trousers and suits.

However they're a bit like Triggers broom! The leather straps and buckles have been replaced a number of times although never at the same time. So they're the same belts

My jeans strap is due to be changed any year now

I prefer the reversible ones, finding it difficult to get one thats the correct width these days though

My belt is near 35 years old. By the wear/ stretching of the holes on it, i can chart my progress from young waif to 'well built' and latterly back in the other direction!

I know a lad who used to use a bit clothes rope as a belt.

So Gibby get yourself out snowdropping and steal a bit clothes rope.
