The Trump and Musk show could be quite interesting in terms of British politics and specifically the rise of Reform.
While I gather there are questions of legality, if Musk gets away with pumping tens of millions into Reform, that will be quite something given the established parties are rooked. Plenty of Jimmy’s much bemoaned snouts will be twitching I imagine.
A slightly more left field thing that I read somewhere, is Trump might make GBnews his conduit to UK media, ie exclusive interviews and access etc. That would presumably bump their ratings and maybe even leave other channels having to syndicate content from them. As they are Reform cheerleaders this also helps Farage.
Now I can’t deny a degree of schadenfreude if, to coin a metaphor, the Celtic and rangers of British politics are suddenly confronted by a St Mirren that can outspend them.
However, in the bigger picture it’s outrageous…or is it the only way, fair or foul, to break up an old boys club? Or perhaps it’s both. What ‘interesting times’. Still , I guess better than Europe where the jackboots will be getting shined up.
What do you think , should we tell the colonies to gtf or do the globalists need to accept globalism ?
